These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Stashio mobile apps, browser extension, and related services (together, the "Service"), provided by Stashio ("Stashio", "we", "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1 Acceptance of these terms
By downloading, accessing, or using Stashio, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2 The service
Stashio lets you save content — links, posts, text, images and screenshots, places, and voice notes — from your device's share sheet or browser, then automatically fetches, cleans, summarizes, organizes, and makes that content searchable so you can revisit it later. Features may change, improve, or be discontinued over time.
3 Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, if higher) to use Stashio. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement and that you are legally able to enter into these Terms.
4 Your identity
Basic use starts with a private, server-backed library identity without requiring email or password registration. Device linking, and optional sign-in where available, can connect installations to a shared library identity. Keep your devices and any sign-in credentials secure. You are responsible for the activity that happens through the installations and credentials you control.
5 Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- save, store, or distribute content that is illegal, infringing, or that you do not have the right to save — including any child sexual abuse material, which is strictly prohibited and reported as required by law;
- violate the intellectual-property, privacy, or other rights of anyone;
- circumvent paywalls, authentication, or access controls, or use Stashio as a general-purpose scraping or proxy service;
- attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' data;
- upload malware or use the Service in any way that breaks applicable law.
To keep things fair and lawful, fetching respects robots directives and per-user rate limits, and we may suspend or limit accounts that abuse the Service.
6 Your content & the license you give us
You keep all rights to the content you save. We don't claim ownership of it. To operate the Service for you, you grant Stashio a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, copy, transmit, process, and create derived data (such as summaries, tags, transcripts, and search indexes) from your content — solely to provide the Service to you. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies we must retain briefly for backups or legal obligations.
You are responsible for the content you save and confirm you have the right to save it.
7 Third-party content & links
When you save a link, Stashio may fetch and display content that belongs to third parties. That content remains the property of, and the responsibility of, its owners, and is provided for your personal reference. Stashio is not responsible for third-party content and does not endorse it. Respect the copyright and terms of the sources you save from.
8 Subscriptions & billing
Stashio offers optional Stashio Premium plans. The free tier lets you keep using the core app; Premium unlocks additional capabilities shown in the app at the time of purchase.
- Purchase & billing. Premium is sold as an in-app purchase through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Payment is charged to your Apple/Google account at confirmation of purchase. We never receive your card or payment details.
- Auto-renewal. Auto-renewing subscriptions renew automatically for the same period and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Manage or cancel. You can manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID / Google Play account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Lifetime / one-time purchases, where offered, are charged once and are non-recurring.
- Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may change for future periods with notice. Any unused portion of a free trial (if offered) is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple/Google under their policies; please contact the relevant store for refund requests.
9 Stashio's intellectual property
The Service itself — including the Stashio name, logo, design, software, and content we create — is owned by Stashio and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service; they do not transfer any of our rights to you.
10 Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Stashio uses automated AI processing; AI-generated summaries, tags, transcripts, and extracted facts may be inaccurate or incomplete, and you should not rely on them for decisions where accuracy is critical. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content will always be preserved — please keep your own copies of anything important.
11 Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stashio and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim (or, if you paid nothing, a nominal amount permitted by law). Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
12 Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Stashio harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of content you save or your misuse of the Service in breach of these Terms or applicable law.
13 Termination
You may stop using Stashio and delete your account and data at any time from Settings → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms or use the Service unlawfully. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (e.g. content-license limits for residual backups, disclaimers, liability limits) will survive.
14 Changes to the service or these terms
We may update the Service and these Terms as the app evolves. When we make material changes to these Terms, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and provide notice in the app where appropriate. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
15 Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts — except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise. The provider of the Service for the purposes of these Terms is Stashio, operated by Uranashel.
